The painting of Beaver Lake was done in September 2024 just a couple weeks before Hurricane Helene devastated our Western North Carolina region. I’ve searched for the evergreens at the lake and I believe they are all gone along with many other trees.

The Tybee Beach painting was done earlier in the year after a delightful winter vacation on the coast of South Carolina. Tybee Beach is just outside of Savannah Georgia.
